DESCRIPTION
18 projects from lap quilts and pillows to wall hangings and table runners. Perfect for decorating your home, indoors our out! Projects feature Lynne Hagmeier's Kansas Troubles Layered Patchwork technique Many of the projects can be made even quicker using KT's specialty rulers: Spare Change Ruler KT99903, Five & Dime Ruler KT99901 KT's Layered Patchwork technique simplifies traditional pieced blocks by eliminated multiple seams of difficult methods such as y-Seams. By layering triangles and squares with precut or bias-cut edges on background squares, blocks are flat, square and the perfect finished sizes. The layered pieces are top-stitched close to the raw edges with matching or contrasting thread. Since the edges are pinked or cut on the bias they will softly curl and fray when washed but will not unravel. It creates a dimensional, textural element to your quilts that is touchably soft and cuddly. Make it fast and fun!
